Established in 1943, Building Material Distributors, Inc. [BMD] is a global wholesale distributor and exporter of specialty and commodity building materials. BMD supplies quality products to independent lumber yards, regional building material dealers, national chains, window and door specialty retailers, hardware retailers and home centers throughout the entire state of California and northwest Nevada. BMD is head-quartered on a company-owned 22 acre site in Galt, California with branch offices in Ontario and Vernon (Southern California); Eureka (Northern California), and business offices in Phoenix, Arizona, Salt Lake City, Utah and Tokyo, Japan.
